The Library holds over 7000 books covering a wide range of medical and healthcare subjects. New titles are added regularly. We include selected items featured on University course booklists, and welcome users' suggestions.
The books in the Library are arranged by the Dewey Decimal Classification scheme.
A printed Subject Index is available to help you find the topic you need. Book spines are labelled with the classification number.

An Online Public Access catalogue is available in the library. The OPAC can also be accessed from elsewhere, using the links below. These open in a new window.

Passwords are not needed to search the catalogue.

You will need to log in with your borrower number (under the barcode on your library card) and library PIN to see details of items which you have borrowed.

We subscribe to over 100 print journals. Current journals are displayed in alphabetical order by title near the Library entrance. Back issues are either bound or kept in boxes. Some older back issues are kept in the Library store. Staff will fetch these for you as required.

All journals are for reference only and may not be removed from the Library. Articles may be photocopied within copyright regulations. Ask the staff for more information.
